Riverside maintains its safety top spot

Here at Riverside, we’re proud to maintain a daily commitment to health and safety excellence.

And we’ve once again secured the prestigious SafeContractor accreditation – for the fifth year running – proving that our high standards continue to remain consistent.

To originally achieve the recognition back in 2015, we were subject to a rigorous safety protocol audit. And, the latest achievement shows we’re still hitting the required standards of quality control year-on-year.

As suppliers of large waste machinery – including balers weighing up to eight tonnes – Riverside operates in a potentially high-hazard sector. Strict and well-established health and safety policies and procedures for risk-management are therefore a necessity, with Riverside upholding a faultless accident record to date.

Commenting on the re-accreditation, managing director Jonathan Oldfield said: “The renowned accolade certainly puts UK contractors through their paces, to ensure that the maximum levels of competency and compliance are demonstrated across the board.

“This independent seal of approval definitely gives potential customers peace of mind that they are in safe hands – it’s helped us secure additional clients over the last few years. But that isn’t all, as over and above that it has ensured that we keep our employees, clients, partners and other stakeholders safe, wherever we are working.”

We hope that we continue to set a good example in our industry, and one that will be followed by others in the sector.
